Okay so I wrote the beginning of this on a sheet of paper, then transferred it to a notebook and added then typed it and added more. Hopefully I've read it enough times that it's decent. Please, please, please review. I would appreciate it A LOT!

Unknown-POV

I stood by myself at the back of the church. I had felt a pull here, as I looked around I realized that I was at Junipero Serra church.

Many people were fidgeting in their pews, waiting for someone. My thoughts were confirmed when a bride came to the end of the aisle, holding her father's arm. She was extremely beautiful with long dark curls partly pulled back and large green eyes. She looked towards the alter and you could see her eyes light up the moment she spotted the groom in the front of the church.

So it's a marriage for love; that didn't happen often in my time, I mused.

I drifted along the wall towards the alter in time with the woman, making sure I was not visible to any possible mediators. I had never met one, but I heard of more than one being in this area.

I knew I had been pulled here, but I couldn't take my eyes off the bride, she was the most radiant woman I had ever seen except for maybe my wife. Finally reaching the alter, her father placed her small hand in the much larger tanned hand of- Jesse.

My heart stuttered and my breathing stopped. That's impossible. Jesse, my son was alive and getting married.

Jesse glanced down at his bride with love filled eyes and a small smile. She returned the look with an even bigger smile. They truly love each other.

I couldn't help but think of Jesse's arranged engagement to Maria. Maria was the prettiest girl around and yet this woman here could put Maria's looks to shame. I was never very happy with the idea of having Jesse and Maria wed, but it was most sensible decision we could make at the time.

As Jesse and Susannah, whose name I soon learned, exchanged vows I came to the startling conclusion that it didn't really matter how Jesse came to this time. Thinking he died all those years ago and having his future taken away from him was wrong. If he had lived, a future with Maria wouldn't have been pleasant. Here, with Susannah, was the happiest I had ever seen Jesse.

I stood a few feet from Susannah's back and slowly became visible, wishing Jesse would be able to tell I was here. Somehow my wish came true and Jesse's eyes widened slightly. I smiled with pride at him and just nodded towards Susannah, mouthing, she's beautiful, as I started to fade away. I didn't need to stay here any longer. I had gotten to see what I always wanted, to see my only son's wedding to a beautiful woman, and a wonderful life ahead of him.
