Goodbye, Arcadia Bay

After Max ripped the photo she quickly fell into Chloe's arms. Max and Chloe didn't look at Arcadia Bay being destroyed into pieces. Max thought of Joyce and David.

'Chloe, I'm so sorry. It's all my fault. Everyone will die now, but I couldn't live with the thought that you will be dead' She said while crying her sea blue eyes out.

'It's not your fault. You did what you thought is right. No one should have to decide big things like these' They both grabbed each other even tighter. Chloe looked at the tornado. It was ripping the town in pieces.

'Let's sit through the tornado in the lighthouse and in the morning we will hit the town to get my car if it will be in one piece!' Chloe was confident on what she wants, but Max on the other hand was scared and confused, she was going crazy because she knew that because of her actions many people will die including Joyce, David, Warren even Kate. Chloe grabbed Max's hand and they both went to the lighthouse. They both looked through the big lighthouse window.

'Goodbye, Arcadia Bay.' Even more tears came from Max's eyes.

MORNING

'Good morning, sleepyhead!' Chloe looked so... Excited. Max didn't understand why, but she didn't ask.

'Hey... Did anyone survive the tornado?' Max was still really sad about what happened to Arcadia bay. She didn't look into Chloe's eyes. She didn't want her to see her crying like that again. She wanted for Chloe to think that she's stronger than that, but... Maybe she isn't.

'I don't know. For now my number 1 priority is to keep you safe and in this timeline!' Chloe was so self-assured. She thought that she can do anything.

'About that... I'm afraid to try my powers. Maybe I lost them? We will never know, because I will never use them...' Max was really scared of her powers, because she knew, if she does a mistake the whole world can be in danger...

'You will have to try them! We need to know if you still have your powers. But for now, let's just go to town. And search for...' One tear rolled down her eye 'Mom and my step...dad.'

'Chloe, whatever happens, I will be there for you and don't you forget that.'

After that talk they both got dressed and ready to go to town. Max and Chloe were scared, because they didn't know if anyone is still alive. But Max knew, if anyone is dead it's because of her and she still blamed herself for that.

When they both went to town they saw dead bodies, shattered glass everywhere, destroyed houses. Max started to cry. She cried so much that she thought she will leave a puddle there. When Chloe saw that Two Whales is destroyed she started crying too.

'I'm sorry, Chloe. I will never do anything like that. I will never use my powers again. I don't want anyone to experience something similar. I'm sorry...' Max just couldn't look to Chloe's eyes. She was really angry and sad to see Chloe like that. She never wished for anything to be like this.

'I... I know, Max. Don't be sorry. Let's just find a car and get the hell out of here and find a place to stay in. If we won't find any cars we will stay few days here and search for radios or something like that.' Chloe wiped her crystal like tears and went forward. Max followed.

'Chloe, I will never rewind life again.'

Max remembered about yesterday, how she was holding Chloe's hand when the tornado destroyed Arcadia Bay. She remembered what she said.

'Goodbye, Arcadia Bay.' Max wiped her big tears and grabbed Chloe's arm.
