Chapter 1-
Who am I?
I am A.
When I was younger I used to be happy and popular. Everyone wanted to be my friend; everyone wanted me at their 10th birthday party. When I got older I began to realise I was idolized by others in my class. People started to wear the same clothes I wore and cut their hair just like mine. Before I knew it, we were almost clones acting the same and dressing the same way. I was a leader and I loved it, being in control gave me a sense of power and authority. Until one day it stopped.
It was a Tuesday morning; I was wearing my striped red dress from the boutique down the road with my hair in identical braids. As I entered the fluorescent hallway something was wrong, there was no one waiting for me by my locker nobody was there to compliment my new outfit. I reached the door of my old claustrophobic classroom to find the rest of my class laughing to one and other wearing clothes I wouldn't dream of wearing. One girl sat at the back wearing maroon skinnies with yellow pumps that definitely didn't complement one and other to say the least. As I entered, the sound shrunk to faint whispers; everyone stared open eyed with an expression of hatred on their faces. I made my way to the chair that was left free at the very corner of the classroom whilst heads turned in unison watching my every step. Before long I received notes from who I thought were my friends. 'You're just a waste of space, nobody ever liked you'. The notes seemed to be endless, I never realised what I did wrong or how many people it took to make me feel worthless.
That was how it started, that was all it took for me to turn into A.
