All right, I wrote this at Bible Camp on June 11th, 2008 during a "breakout session" about worship. Three of the people on the Camp worship team were giving the "session" (I like to call them seminars) and for part of it, they asked us to grab a piece of paper and a marker and worship. We could draw, write, color, whatever, and I chose to write this.
Worship is not just singing,
But writing, relaxing, anything!
You can worship God together or alone
And He hears you from His throne.
God loves to see you having fun
Even if you're the only one.
He loves to hear your praise and adoration
Who joy is your motivation.
God loves when we worship Him
With dancing, singing, or a hymn.
Our praise is for the King,
So let's let them always ring.
Yup. Wrote that it in, oh, five to ten minutes. They gave us between five and, like, eight, so I probably spent about eight minutes on it. Seventy-three words.
But the point of the seminar was value, and how everybody values something above everything else. They wanted us to remember to value God most and that worship isn't just singing. If you have the right mindset, even sleeping can be worship. :)
