Never was there a greater man
than Tokugawa Shige Shige,
he treasured his friends enough
to not only love them but fight
beside them, this great man
was not yet a man but, already,
he was wiser than many men,
even though he was used for much
of his term as Shogun, when
Shige Shige realized the needs
of his subjects, he rose up
and thought of them, not himself
like his Uncle or his successor
might, this man made mistakes
but he did all he could to
right them, all since he
found his place after Sada
Sada was exposed, Shige
Shige has always thought
of his subjects first and
as people, even though he
couldn't stand against the
Tendoshuu, Shige Shige
never doubted his friends,
he was a great man who
passed his spirit onto
Kondou, Hijikata, Okita,
Kagura, Shinpachi, Gin
and the others who fought
with him for the country
that they all love,
his death will not be in
vain as long as they all
push forward and never let their
swords in their souls break.
