"Is it Turbo to want respect?"
Ralph's words kept echoing inside the blue elf's mind, as she floated along towards her game.
He did have a point, heroes always got rewarded, everyone acknowledged them, praised them ,wanted to be just like them.
But who wanted to be the villain?
She ignored the stares and murmurs of the other characters in Game Central Station, just as she always did.
Lillian knew exactly where Ralph was coming from, for as long as she could remember people who played her game judged her based on her skin, her pointed ears, some on her dress, and don't get her started on the hormonal teenage boys.
All he wanted…..all any of the villains wanted really, was a little respect, a little kindness, some compassion, was that too much to ask?
She stopped and watched as Ralph gave a cherry to Q-bert, a small smile formed on her face.
If only they could see, how truly gentle and kind he really was, at the meeting, he voiced out what everyone else was thinking.
And deep down…Lillian cheered him on….because she understands how hard it can be,
"Good Luck big guy." she whispered before going through the portal into her game.
