A/N: someone just asked me to write a Katie fic. And here goes nuthin'
Disclaimer: dunno who owns Big Time Rush, but I know it sure as heck aint me.
Katie and Potato Chips
"Katie," said Mrs. Knight, looking at her daughter sternly.
The girl looked like a peaceful little angel, the halo invisible and maybe five degrees crooked, but it was still there, hanging by the threads of her mother's heart.
"Please stay out of trouble, will you?" asked the woman.
And her small, brunette daughter nodded sweetly with a sickeningly cute smile. The halo went a few more degrees crooked as plots were already forming and the wheels of her mind spun faster and faster as she schemed. "Yes, Mom."
Letting out a long, exhausted sigh, Mrs. Knight headed out the door and into the hallway, hoping she wasn't making a mistake by leaving Katie all alone in their apartment at the Palm Woods.
Of course, the girl wasn't totally alone. Kendall was just downstairs at the pool with the rest of Big Time Rush. So why should she worry?
The second the elevator dinged to say that it was downstairs, Katie leapt up from the couch, scampering into the kitchen as fast as she could and grabbed the potato chips from the cabinets. It was a full bag. Kendall would be pissed.
And she couldn't help but smile.
Downstairs, out the window, Katie could see her brother sitting with Jo poolside. They were just talking over a giant smoothie cup.
She ripped open the bag. The smell of greasy potato chips filled the air. Katie drank it in like a drug. This was going to be great.
She pushed the mouth of the bag out the window and started dumping chips everywhere below, watching them rain down on Kendall and Jo.
Her halo was held up by devil horns.
Carlos was sitting nearby. He got hit with a few. His helmet made it so he couldn't feel anything. Which was pretty cool. Even though it was raining potato chips.
