I was feeling kinda sad, so I wrote my take on what Jack would've said in a letter to Kim after leaving the country. I know he left her a recorded video, but I thought he'd probably send her a letter as well in case she didn't get it…and stuff…ONESHOT!

Dear Kim,
You've probably heard a lot of things about what I've done today. Truth is, most of them seem unreal to even me. I know what I've done may seem cruel and unnecessary, but I was so angry about all the deaths of innocent people—several of them my friends—that I not only lost control of my actions, but I also lost control of myself. At times I found myself only thinking about hurting someone. I forgot to focus on the important things in my life—you, Teri, your family I guess you could say I betrayed you. I promised we'd be together, but now I've been forced to abandon my country.
I feel betrayed, Kim. After everything I've done, they turned their back on my. I know President Taylor regrets it, but what's done is done and there's no use in my trying to change it.
People will come looking for you. That is my biggest fear. I asked Chloe to do everything in her power to protect you.
I can't guarantee when we'll see each other again. I'm sorry for the pain I've caused you,
