Chapter 1: New Girl in Town
Udonna sat in Rootcore thinking about her husband, son, and most of all, her daughter. All those years ago when Alianbow was underground fighting, she had given birth to a baby girl who she named Kika. Kika would be very powerful as she grew up, just like her older brother.
"Hey mom" Nick, or Bowen, said walking in with the other rangers. They had just gotten Alianbow back from the Underworld. Her husband came in right behind Xander.
"Honey, what's wrong" he asked hugging her from behind. She sighed, she had to tell them. She turned around to the rangers. She told them everything.
"Wow" Chip commented. The others were staring at her in disbelief. Nick stepped closer to her.
"So you're saying that I have a sister out there" Nick asked incredulously.
"I'm afraid so. She will also have to help fight the darkness, or else, Briarwood and the surface world will be doomed" Udonna told them. Vida sighed.
"Great! Now we have to find another person" she said. Udonna smiled. She waved her hand at the crystal ball. It showed a couple with their daughter, in Briarwood.
"Looks like they're here. Let's go guys" Madison, Vida's twin, yelled to them. They followed her to the Rock Porum, where they work. Then, a redheaded, 19 year old walked in. Nick looked up and was instantly reminded of his mom. As she opened her mouth, screams vibrated and they all ran out of the store. Necrolli was causing terror. While the others suited up, Geralin got into a battle stance. She looked at her motorcycle and ran to it. She grabbed the handle bars and pushed off the ground hard. She was able to knock Necrolli to the ground.
"You're going to pay, girl" she spat evilly. Then, the rangers came into view. Necrolli looked up and Geralin took the chance. She once again grabbed the handle bars and did a two-footed forward kick. Necrolli screamed in pain as Geralin's feet touched the ground. A bolt shot out from Necrolli and Geralin ducked, it hit the rangers. They were hit and it instantly demorphed them. Geralin saw who they were and somehow managed to chase Necrolli away.
"Nick" she asked stunned. Nick looked at her questioningly.
"How did you know our names" he asked. Geralin outstretched her hand and Nick gladly took it.
"I tend to know a lot of things" she responded. Nick knew these kinds of things from his mom.
"Um….." he began.
"Geralin" she told him. Nick smiled.
"Geralin, would you like me to show you something? You can't tell anybody except for us" he finished. She nodded. Nick took her hand and led her to the tree.
"What the…." she exclaimed confused. Then, she was taken through the tree and into the woods, the magical part. On her back, Geralin had a backpack which had her baby blanket in it. It was the one her birth mother created for her. It was hot pink with a red and lime green trim along the edge.
"MOM" Nick called. Udonna appeared out of nowhere and Geralin spun around. She had forgotten to zip her bag up all the way and the blanket fell out. Udonna realized that she hadn't gotten a look at the crystal ball when she told the rangers.
"Kika" she asked slowly. She walked up to Geralin and cupped her face in her hands. Geralin was afraid.
