Roman walked backstage after Batista eliminated him from the royal rumble , everyone kept out of his way seeing the dangerous glint in his eye. He was angry .. actually he was beyond angry , everything was going great and then dean decided to try to eliminate him , after everything they had been through he thought they were brothers obviously he was wrong. He walked to their locker room and slammed the door open so hard he was sure it came of its hinges. Dean jumped up and instantly hid behind Seth.
"Roman listen I know your angry with me , but it was every man for himself" he quickly explained.
"Are you fucking kidding me we had a plan , we were going to help each other out until there was only us in the ring" Roman snarled , Seth suddenly spoke up.
"Listen Rome, Dean didn't mean it , he was just hyped up and wasn't thinking"
"Don't lay that bullshit on me Seth he knew exactly what he was doing , there's no way it was a fucking accident "
"Well what about you throwing me out I did nothing to deserve it yet you eliminated me" Seth shot back crossing his arms.
"That actually was an accident" Roman defended.
"Was it cause it sure didn't look like you regretted it?"
"I was angry Seth if you didn't notice I was trying to throw Dean out the ring not you" Roman pointed out.
"No I didn't notice I was busy helping Dean just like I helped you , I wouldn't throw either of you guys out because I respect the hell out of you both"
"Well I wouldn't have thrown dean out of the ring if he hadn't tried to throw me out first" Roman defended.
"Listen Rome I'm sorry I tried to throw you out but i just saw a chance and took it , I mean come on its Wrestlemania the biggest event in WWE , you even said you would throw us both over the ropes to get there" Dean chipped in from behind Seths back. Roman sighed realising dean was right.
"I know I did I guess it just hurt that you wanted to eliminate me before people you don't even get on with, I thought we were like brothers man"
Dean finally decided to stop hiding behind Seth as he realised Roman was calming down.
"Rome , we are brothers you guys are my best friends but listen I tried to throw you out the ring before the others because I seen you as a bigger threat than them" Dean reasoned.
"Hey what about me wasn't I a threat?" Seth asked.
"Don't worry Seth I was going to throw you out after him"
"Thanks...I think" Seth replied wondering if he should take it as a compliment or not.
"You're welcome" Dean said with a smirk
Roman let out a chuckle "you're an asshole sometimes ,you know that Ambrose"
"Yes but you guys wouldn't have me any other way" Dean stated confidently
"Hmm I could do without it sometimes " Seth replied
It was Deans turn to chuckle "yeah you just keep telling yourselves that , you both know I'm amazing" and with that he walked towards the showers.
Roman looked at Seth " I am sorry you know, I didn't mean to eliminate you"
Seth just shook his head " It's water under the bridge man , at least we helped you beat kanes record , congrats by the way"
"couldn't of done it without you guys " Roman said after giving Seth a fist bump. They started walking to the showers when Roman spoke up
"How did the conversation end up with dean telling us that he's amazing , instead of me kicking his ass"
"I don't have a clue , maybe it's because were the shield and nothing will ever get between our friendship" Seth concluded.
Roman smiled "yeah , I think that could be it".
