Background: Blake is sitting in her bed, reading, at night. She looks at the bed above her and her thoughts are consumed by Yang. This is what she was thinking in poem form.

The Sun that Shines on My Shadows

You are, and forever will be,

the sun that shines on my shadows.

I see you in the darkness,

and your smile is my beacon.

My life is changed,

and you are the reason.

How could you rule

my heart the way you do?

You look at me

and all I see

is your heart,

which guides me.

I look above me,

and all I see

is the heart,

which I'll never hold.

Why do you never see

the person, which is me,

who loves you

unconditionally?

But, don't you see,

when you look at me,

your smile is all I need.

How can I tell you

that you are,

and forever will be,
the sun that shines on my shadows?
