AN/: Hi all just had this idea from a dream I had last night (I should really stop eating chocolate before bed lol) Anyway I'll just put a little introduction up and see what the response is. If you think it's a good idea let me know and I'll put up some more chapters. If you think it's a load of rubbish let my know and I can feed my waste paper basket (yep all my stories are written by hand) In fact any feedback at all would be greatly appreciated as I'm trying to prove a point to one of my university lecturer who seems to think that my written English is absolutely terrible. Is it?
A Mother's Love
Chapter 1
An Introduction.
It is ten years on from when the idiotic Ministry of Magic instituted a draconian law forcing eligible muggleborn or half blood witches to marry pure- blooded wizards and produce a male heir within a year of their marriage.
However the plan backfires when the hugely powerful offspring the Ministry were anticipating fail to appear. In response the Ministry decides not to waste high quality education on those with lower magic levels and enforces a law that demands that any child's magic level be checked at birth by Ministry trained midwives. Any child with less than 80magical ability would not be able to gain entrance to Hogwarts and would only be allowed to pursue Ministry sanctioned Jobs that are assessed as suitable for their particular magic level.
Ten years after her marriage to Severus Snape, Hermione Granger-Snape gives birth to her third child. Unlike his older brother, Augustus, and older sister, Carlotta, Maximillian Granger- Snape falls only 1 short of the Ministry's target.
The following story follows a mother's desperate fight against a biased system for the rights of her son to the Education and the future he deserves…..
