Surprise
Jack has surprise for Ianto
Author's note: I have used the layout of the flat in the programme in 'Friends.' Jack and Ianto live in the bit where Monica lives in, and Tosh lives in the spare room as well. In Joey and Chandler live, Owen lives there with his roommate Mike.
Story start
Ianto was very tired, worn out from his days work at Torchwood and he just wanted to go home and sleep. The thing was he wanted to go home with Jack but he wasn't at work, Jack had left the Hub an hour before everyone went home. Ianto was too tired to wait for Jack and so he was just going straight home.
Owen and Ianto were slowly making their way up the stairs talking about nothing in particular. Finally they made it up to Ianto and Owen apartments, "see you tomorrow." Owen grumbled before entering his apartment. Ianto nodded in reply and opened the door and entered but stopped in his tracks the fact that he saw every surface was covered in lit candles. Ianto stepped into the apartment shocked at what he was seeing. "Jack?" Ianto called out, wondering where he was.
"Hey." Jack replied coming out their bedroom.
"What is all this?" Ianto asked gesturing to all the candles.
Jack moved so he was standing in front of Ianto, "Ianto, I love more than I have loved anyone else, I am giving myself to you." Jack took a pause and dropped down to one knee pulling out small black velvet box. This made Ianto gasp. "Ianto Jones will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?"
Ianto was shocked and nodded, "yes." He breathed, "Yes I will marry you," he pulled jack up and watched him place the gold ring on his finger and Jack pulled Ianto into a kiss, happy that they were going to spend the rest of their lives together.
