This is a crossover of Jigoku Shoujo by Etoo Miyuki-sensei and Finder Series by Yamane Ayano-sensei..

Recount of the Final Moments

One fine day while sitting on my couch, I heard someone knocked on the door; I stood up and went to open it. To my surprise, there she stood soaking wet, even though it wasn't raining. I wondered what happened, with no second thought I let her in; worried that she might get sick. I let her use my bathroom, to clean up and change into clean dry clothes.

I looked at her face but found no traces of expression, even her eyes were pitch black they were empty, blank.

After she cleaned up, she went directly to the living room, sat on the couch without any word. I kept staring at her while preparing tea, tried to figure out how she got so wet. When I approached her carrying the tray for tea and offered her a cup, she accepted my offer without any question. I felt my insides quiver the moment she took the tea cup from me. I took my place beside her.

I tried to open my mouth to make conversation, yet she raised he finger signalling that I keep my silence; I was shocked by the sudden gesture. She took a deep breath and let out a soft sigh. She talked about how she got wet and why she ended up at the door of my apartment.

I was confused after her story ended, especially the last statement when she said "Takaba Akihito, I came to bring you to hell" I asked "Why" but all she said was "Sorry" Her eyes black as night stared deep into my soul; the last thing I heard before darkness consumed me was:

Your pitiful shadow is cloaked in darkness

You have cause great pain and suffering

Your hollow soul drowns in your sin

I will show you what death is.

She brought me to an unfamiliar place. A place with nothing but darkness; there were no people around, except me and her. We walked along an endless path, I tried to search for light but there was none. But suddenly at a distance, I saw a glowing bright light, colour of red and orange. As we draw closer and nearer to the light, I felt an overwhelming amount of heat, only then did I notice that we were standing at the portal going to hell.

I suddenly stopped, yet still holding her hand I heard her say "Few more steps till we reach the portal" I took no step forward, I didn't even move an inch. But she squeezed my hand, as if to let me know that she won't let me go. I thought to myself "Guess I'll never return to my own world then." With every bit of hesitation gone, hand in hand we took the few final steps, and I said to myself "no turning back now. Farewell Asami, I will descend into the pits of hell alone"
