"No Need to Say Goodbye"
This is my first fanfic so no promises! I REALLY hope you like my first story, so without further ado here it is! THIS IS A ONE-SHOT!
It started out as a feeling,
Which than grew into a hope,
It had started out as a normal day in Narnia, sword fighting with Edmund, music lessons with the satyrs, and then archery with Susan. That was interesting. That woman could make even Aslan beg for mercy from her accusing scowl! She had berated me for even the slightest dip in my bow!
She made me run an extra lap, and push-ups! Dear Aslan how I loved her! She made me feel like Fledge on his first flight! Sigh. If she only felt the same… but what if, maybe she did? What would I do about it?
This then turned into a quiet thought
Which this turned into a quiet word,
With that thought planted into my brain, practically engraved there, it sent in a whirlwind of questions. 'What would I do about it, if she did feel the same?' 'Should I say anything about it?' Nah.. "But what if I loved her?" I sighed, so how could I notice the lanky, dark-haired king of old, who heard those softly-spoken words?
And then that word grew louder and louder
Until it was a battle cry!
I'll come back when you call me,
No need to say goodbye…
Aslan watched the two lovers, kissing ardently. He looked at Susan, the look of utter love and peace on her face. How can I take that away from her forever? He sighed, knowing what he was doing to her would break both her and Caspian's hearts. "Susan! I have decided something, you can go back for a year, but after that you may, if you wish, can stay in Narnia forever."
The Gentle Queen laughed and cried at the same time, hugging Caspian for all he's worth.
"FINALLY! We can STAY!" Lucy cried, I pure joy and happiness. "Yes you can Dear One!"aslant proclaimed to the very heavens.
May peace be ever be in Narnia, for all time.
