AN: I have had this idea for a while now but I have finally got it down on paper, so it's no longer threatening my sanity. Hope you enjoy!

Sam woke up tangled in sheets, with one of the most beautiful woman lying next to him. He couldn't help but smile at how peaceful she was in her sleep. It was like she was his personal angel sent to save him from his self and for that he was grateful. He gently bent down to kiss her forehead, but he was careful enough not to wake her. He smiled at the thought of in a few hours she'd be Mrs. Sam Winchester. Even if he felt a pang of guilt in his chest at the thought that he was betraying his first love; he quickly shook that idea out of his head.

Walking carefully as to not wake her, he went to the kitchen to clear his head and to calm his nerves. He shouldn't be feeling this nervous, should he? He couldn't help the guilt that was resurfacing. It clenched at his heart almost making him sick.

After a while it was beginning to be unbearable, but that's when he heard soft footsteps coming up from behind him; he didn't even have to turn around to know who it was. "Go back to bed I'll be up in a minute." He told who he assumed was behind him. When he didn't hear the footsteps retreating back up the stairs he turned around, and when he did he almost dropped the carton of milk he was holding.

"Jess." He whispered so afraid that his eyes were lying to him.

"Hello, Sam." The girl before him said with a small smile.

Sam blinked a few times. He was pretty sure he was losing his mind, or that maybe this was some sick punishment, because he had no idea why the ghost of his dead girlfriend would be standing in his kitchen on the eve of the biggest day of his life. He decided that it was probably just really him losing his mind, or perhaps a bad dream; maybe he'll wake up in the arms of the raven haired beauty.

"It's really me, Sam." Jessica said walking closer towards him causing him to step back out of fear.

"B..but your dead." He managed to choke out his eyes swimming with remorse and the guilt getting worse with each passing moment.

"I know." Jessica said softly looking into his eyes. "I just came to tell you that it's ok. It's ok Sam, you deserve to be happy." With that she stepped forth taking ahold of Sam's hand and she could see the tears freely falling down his cheeks.

"Just let me go Sam. It's time."

"I don't know if I can." He whispered sadly wrapping an arm around her waist pulling her close so were he could rest his face in her blond hair.

"You must. In order to have a life with her you must let go of my ghost." Jessica urged gently as pulled out of Sam's embrace to wipe the tears of his face with the pad of her thumb.

"Why are you here?" He asked her sounding utterly helpless and lost.

"To give you a chance to say your final goodbye." She replies kissing his cheek. "Go to her and have a good life Sam."

"I'll miss you, Jess." Sam said placing a kiss on her cheek. "You are a good person."

Jessica smiled at Sam. "You'll be just fine." And with that she was gone leaving Sam standing there, but he felt lighter as if the weight of the world was taken off of his shoulders. He knew he'd be just fine.
