Once again, Naruto and Neji had forced Sasuke to throw a party at his place. But unlike most of the stories that include a party, this one doesn't take place until after the party, while the guests were leaving. Sasuke was saying his good byes to Shino and Chouji when he looked up to the sky. It was dark and heavy, and anyone could see that it was about to rain. Sasuke closed the door. Finally, everyone had left. He walked into the living room and turned off the music. But as he did so, he heard some other music. It was the piano in the ball room. As he drew closer to the open door of the room, he heard the music clearer. It was so beautiful. But still so sad. He entered the room and saw his pink haired team mate sit by the black piano Sasuke had so often played. She hadn't yet noticed him. She just kept playing. She was so beautiful. Her short, pink hair fell over her face as she played, but he could still see her emerald green eyes, focused on the keyboard. It wasn't until she threw her hair back that she noticed Sasuke. She stopped playing immediately. "Oh! Do forgive me." She started. "I should have asked you for your permission to play. I just-"

"It's all right." Sasuke said and walked to her. "I liked your playing. But, would you be so kind to play me some more?" He asked and Sakura blushed madly. "Of course, Sasuke-kun. Whatever you desire." She turned to the piano again. She started her song slowly. Sasuke recognized the song. It was the duet his parents used to play together. He hadn't heard it for ages. He could play it, but he never had anyone to play it with. Sasuke sat down at Sakura's right. And when the time came, he reached out his long fingers and placed them gently on the keyboard. It started slowly, but then they both hesitated and took a deep breath. They started the real song. It was beautiful. Sakura played the slower, deeper keys and Sasuke the faster, higher keys. The song was perfect. Just the way Sasuke's parents had played it. He played his fathers part flawlessly, and so did Sakura with his mothers part. She even did the same thing his mother used to do. She played up the keyboard and played the two highest keys repeatedly. She giggled as she stopped. "Pardon my enthusiasm." She said and looked at Sasuke. "I like your enthusiasm." He said blunt and looked right back at her, straight into her eyes. She blushed madly as he stared at her. She was so beautiful. For so long he had desired to kiss those soft lips, and now was the perfect moment. He gently placed his finger under her chin and raised it a bit. Then he slowly leant forward, tilting his head a bit to the side. Sakura closed her eyes. Sasuke took it as a sign of her agreement.

Sasuke closed his eyes and kissed Sakura.
