Never had a chance on winning

This is a story about the little boy from 4. In the books he hasn't a big roll. But I think he deserves a story too. A one shot for him.;)))

District 4 Tribute POV:

'Ladies and Gentlemen let the 74th hunger games begin.'

My plate goes up in the sky and for a second the only thing I can see is a withe light and then everything become clearer. I see a huge wood to my right. And to my left is a big lake and a strange meadow of cornucopia is right for the cornucopia are all supplies backpacks and weapons.

In the arena echoes a voice counts the seconds:'30,29,28…'

My legs are shaking so hard that I almost fall of my plate.I take a big breath.

I see the girl from district 11,Rue. She's got the same age as me. And when I look at her . She looks back and smiles scared.

'15,14,13….'

I think of my parents who are watching now. I need to be strong for them.

'3,2,1….'

The gong sounds loud over the arena and everyone begin to run to the cornucopia and so do I. I run to the supplies. i'm shocked when I see a girl fall next to me with a knife in her stomach. The girl with the knives smirks and throws another in the boy of district 9.

I run in the cornucopia and grab a little yellow backpack.

I see a shadow come in the cornucopia. I hide me as quick as I can behind a black knife box.

I think that he heard me because he turn him to me and look at me. His sword full of blood. I feel my leggs shaking again.I know what will happen.I know that he will kill me.

I never had a chance on winning.

I close my eyes and wait for the pain of his sword.

The last thing I see before he hits me was the sea and the waves of district 4.

The sword hits my throat.
