This is essentially an "I would've done it differently/I could've done it better" rendition of Fee and Levin's talk. Even in adamantly refusing to tell her anything I feel like he could've been less harsh.

She was every bit as stubborn as Fury could be on a bad day. Fury, who insisted on remaining by his side until the end and only agreed to stay at home when she found out she was pregnant. Even that was more for their child's sake than her own.
That child stood before him with an angry face, barely looking him in the eye.
"When I first saw you," she said, "I was so happy I was in tears, but you wouldn't even look at me! It was as if you didn't even know who I was!"
He hadn't known who she was, the last time he'd seen her she was a tiny little thing cradled in Fury's arms. She was almost a woman now. Hell, he'd barely remembered who Sety was, or even Fury...some days it was as if he truly had given everything he was to the Dragon God in exchange for his life.
"So you've just been pretending not to notice me all this time?" he finally asked.
"I decided I wasn't going to talk to you unless you came to me first," Fee snapped, and Levin sighed.
"You really are stubborn, girl." For some reason that seemed to be the straw that broke the camel's back, Fee glaring daggers and forcefully turning away from him.
"That's it, just forget you ever had a daughter!" she cried. "If you weren't such a jerk, Mother might still be-"
"Listen to me, young lady!" Levin grabbed her shoulders and forced her to face him again. "I'm sorry you lost your mother, I'm sorry I lost her. But the whole story's a complicated affair, and it's nothing you or your brother need to concern yourself with right now, got it?
"But Father, you-"
"Fee." His voice was firm. "It's not something you need to know right now, okay?" he said, more gently this time as he brushed her bangs away from her face. "You have to focus on the objective at hand, and that's winning this war."
"...father." She cast her eyes downward, and he feared she would begin to cry. One thing that had never changed was his weakness to a woman's tears. "Just tell me this, then...even at the end, you didn't stop loving me or Sety or Mother, did you?" she asked.
"Of course not," he said, and she gave him a watery smile.
"That's all I needed to hear," she whispered, and Levin sighed. I owe her that much. When this is over... He shook his head. I'm here right now and my role is to guide these children to victory at all costs.
