What is life?

Endless spells, Vanquishing enemies left & right,
Risking life & limb to protect those that cannot protect themselves.

Her work is never done.
Her world never ceases to turn on its head.
Time is a funny thing.
For a Witch there's never enough.
To sit & simply be at one with nature.
The way her ancestors before her.

Although Freya's life was full, something was missing.
A piece of the puzzle.

Strong, powerful & relentless wanted more.
Her siblings over the centuries had ample opportunities for
LOVE & FRIENDSHIP.
Surely a Mikaelson Witch could have the same as her Original Brothers & Sister?

Young Freya would have laughed at the thought she would one day have a partner.
Someone to whom she could come home to.
Now an Adult. Things were not so funny.

Keelin.
The tanned werewolf beauty. So different from everyone else.
She hadn't felt like this before.
What is it to be?
Longing for a friend? Or a lover?

What a notion.
But like her mother before her. Her capacity to love was greater than she knew.
