1. The Beginning

Not everything is as it seems, and not everyone is happy with the idea of living a good run and then dying. I knew when I entered school that I was too inconsistent to live a good proper life the way my momma wanted me to. I knew that. The day I started working at the library when I was 14, was the day I started my little 'project'; I had already found the perfect house to do it in, and so that's when I started my book. I want it to be done before I go.

You're probably wondering what it is I'm on about, so I'll make it simple.

My name is Tanai Melark, and on my eighteenth birthday I'm going to commit suicide.
