It was a dark night in the middle of september so it wasn't to cold or to hot, it was just perfect. Somewhere in the darkness the sound of heels against the pavement could be heard but no one was around to see who it was that was out and about at this time of night.
A woman in her early 30's had appeared out of the darkness. Her skin was pale and she had long raven colored curls that fell down her back and over her shoulders. Her long black velvet dress hugged every part of her body in the rightway Her dark eyes scanned everyway to make sure she wasn't being followed. Every so often she would look down to the object she held in her arms.
Turning she made her way down a sidewalk towards a two story brick house. In the big window on the front of the house there was a light that could be seen on in another room that told her whoever lived here was still up.
She stopped when she approached the door. Her dark eyes went back to the hidden object in her arms. A baby was wrapped up in the dark red blanket sleeping peacefully unaware of what was going on. Thin blood red lips formed into a smile, no one knew that this infant would hold so much power.
"You will cause so much pain and dispare." the woman whispered to her daughter before she gave a swift yet hard knock on the door and placed the baby on the steps. With that done she disappeared, no one would know she had been there.
