Revenge is Sweet
Merlin had plan. A trick to play on Arthur to get his own back for making him "train" with the most burning person he was ever likely to meet.
Arthur and the knights were eating together. It was Gwen and Merlin job to give them their food.
"I hope you learn something, Merlin" said Arthur
"Certainly Sire" said Merlin "I learn you are still a prat" Perivale and Elyan almost spat out their drinks.
"So" said Gwaine trying to get Merlin out of trouble "What are we eating today?"
"Stew" said Gwen
"Stew?" asked Gwaine not looking happy about it
"If you have a problem with it, you can ask the cook" pointed out Merlin.
Gwaine had been on the cooks bad side before "Stew's fine. Stew's good"
Merlin and Gwen went to get it. They were soon back. After handing out the stew Merlin creped thought the servant entry. Arthur had a big spoonful of Stew then spat it out.
"What wrong with you?" asked Leon "The pork is good"
"I haven't got pork" said Arthur crossly
"What is it then?" asked Percival
"It's rat... MERLIN" shouted Arthur looking for him but he wasn't in sight "When I get my hands on him I will..." No one hear what Arthur was going to do as he was gone and out of the room looking for Merlin.
"I don't think Merlin like his training" laughed Elyan
Soon Arthur come back with a smug smile
"Where's Merlin?" asked Gwaine
"In the stocks" said Arthur "That will teach him for giving the king rat. Revenge is sweet"
No one told Arthur that Merlin liked being in the stocks...
