Forget me not
So hi guys! I just totally love Noragami by the way. It's what makes my Mondays so bearable . Just a little variation here and there with tid bits of information from chapter 16 ;). Enjoy!
Hiyori's POV:
Yay! School is finally over! Yama-chan and Ami-chan were walking home with me.
"Hold on! I need to buy something!" I shouted. I came back with 2 meat buns.
"Why'd you buy 2?" asked Ami-chan.
"She's probably meeting up with a guy," said Yama-chan.
"Yeah I am," I said. *AWKWARD SILENCE*
"OMG!" they both yelled. I walked away as they "attempted" to call my mom.
*rattle, rattle*
I turn back. I feel like someone is following me. Suddenly, a trash can falls over and reveals…
"YATO! WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING?!" I screamed.
"As a god, I'm supposed to be watching over you," he said.
"Don't do it like that! It makes you look like a stalker!" I screamed.
"ME?! A stalker?! What about you? You're always around me!" Yato screamed.
"Excuse me?! Why- oh never mind," I huffed. Yato is so annoying! "Here," I said, as I handed him the meat buns.
"What?" he asked, confused, as usual.
"You said you wanted to try these. It has four types of cheeses," I replied.
"Thanks. But why bother? You're gonna forget me and Yukine some day," Yato muttered.
"What was that?" I asked.
"Nothing," he replied, dryly.
"Hey, how about next week Yukine and you come with me to the Sakura Festival?" I asked.
"Sure. If you don't forget about us," Yato said.
I smiled. "Unlike you, I don't forget my promises and I will certainly not forget about you two."
"Fine. But stop stalking me," Yato said and disappeared.
"I AM NOT STALKING YOU!" I screamed. Yato pisses me off so much.
ONE WEEK LATER:
"So you didn't forget, stalker," said Yato.
"I AM NOT A STALKER 0," I screamed.
"Riiiiiiiiiiight," said Yato.
"Ne, where's Yukine?" I asked. The blond boy was not with Yato and I was wondering if Yato used the stray to…
"Kofuku dragged him off somewhere," said Yato.
"I see," said Hiyori.
"HIYORI! Who are ya talking to?" I voice, now I realized, was Ami chan.
"Oh, hey Ami-chan. I was um er…"
"Yo!" Yato said suddenly.
"Ahh! Oh um, sorry. I didn't notice you. It looked like Hiyori-chan was talking to herself," Ami-chan said.
"Ne, Yato, let's go," I said and dragged him off.
"So, what do you want to do first?" asked Yato.
"Um, let's check out the shops. They have the cutest things," I replied. So yeah, we were walking and walking and walking. I bought Yato some taiyaki and we went to the games section.
"Wow," I said. I was wowing at a beautiful Sakura pin that you could get, if you win the ring toss game, which is like, impossible.
"You want it? I'll win it for you," said Yato.
"Wait, you don't half to," I said. But it was too late. Yato had gave the ring toss owner quite a shock because as usual, he didn't notice Yato.
Unbelievable.
"HOW"D YOU MANAGE TO WIN THAT?" I asked.
"Skill," Yato replied. "Here."
"Thanks. You didn't have to."
"Well, one day you will forget me, so if you do, think about who got you this pin," replied Yato.
"Yato! I will never, ever forget you, promise," I replied.
"Not everyone can keep promises," said Yato.
"Hmph! I know! Yato, forget about turning back to normal! I want to be half phantom!" I yelled.
"But… but, you'll keep losing your body," said Yato.
"So? I want to be with you and Yukine for as long as possible!" I said and smiled. Yato seemed surprised. He was also blushing.
"You look like a tomato," I said and giggled.
"And you look like a stalker," Yato said, after he regained his cool.
"Hey-!"
"Hiyori, promise you won't forget me?"
I smiled. "Promise."
