"Come on Bella please!" Alice screeched into my ear the little pixie that i called my best friend was sitting on her bed in the Cullen's mansion sized house. Halloween was tomorrow and she is making everyone dress up. she has found costumes for everyone including me. Alice was going to be Tinkerbell, Jasper was a soldier, emmett is going to be a pirate, rose is a vampire hunter and Edward is being a Victorian vampire. Alice also has a great idea for my costume too, but after I heard it I had to put my foot down. I mean it sounded good at first but then I realized what Edward would think if he saw me in it.
"Alice you know how I feel about this " Her idea was to give me some glue in fangs, and red colored contacts and try to make me look like a newborn vampire. When she first told me her idea I was excited. Maybe if Edward saw me he wouldn't be so against changing me, but then I thought what if the costume made him angry, what would he do then?
So I thought about for a few days and then decided that I didn't know whether he would be upset or happy. Alice kept reassuring me that he would be fine, that he would understand, and that I was getting upset over nothing. So here I am in her room debating if I should risk it and wear the costume or play it safe and stick to my original devil costume. Alice, who was starting to get annoyed with my sitting around and doing nothing, said to me,"Isabella Marie Swan so help me if you do not agree to wearing the stupid costume then I will take you shopping everyday for the rest of the year!" Knowing that Alice never jokes about shopping I decided to do what may be the worst decision I have ever made. I decided to wear the damn costume.
Once Alice saw my decision, she started cheering, clapping and bouncing around the room at the same time. One of these days I really hope she falls down. In the middle of all the bouncing and cheering she somehow still managed to get a full sentence out ,"I knew you would say yes, I knew it!"
"You know everything Alice, you always do," I said, sighing. I now had a mission for Halloween and that was to somehow make this newborn vampire costume look good for tomorrow night and hopefully one day soon the future.
