Remorse

Prologue

Somewhere over near the large city of Anaheim was 'Pepper ridge forest. Known for its large dark gothic look it wasn't a place to wonder round at night. Not because of thugs, but because of mountain lions, bears and the wolves.

As night fell, it fell quickly. The shimmering full moon rose from its morning grave to give the night a white look to it. Painting the forest in a pure white glow. The trees swayed slightly in the little wind, and frost quickly began to form, giving everything a winter wonderland effect. But something was in the forest, which would soon paint the wonderland in crimson.

Through the thick of the trees came a dark shadow. Followed by another, and another. Soon they pierced the darkness and came to a slight opening in the forest, normally used for camp fires. But the fire had long been put out.

"Jason, Mandrake" A tall man with scruffy short black hair said to his two companions. He wore a ripped up short sleeved shirt and tattered jeans with no shoes. Unlike Jason and Mandrake. He gave of a far more... Dominant atmosphere.

"Yes Kei?" Jason, said his beady brown eyes darting to Mandrake for reassurance. Kei snarled steeping forward with power. Jason lowered his head in a submissive way and left it there without saying anymore.

"The boss wants 'that' child" Kei said with a snarl that almost seemed permanent on his torn features. Mandrakes eyebrows furrowed in confusion as he mention the child, he knew perfectly well who the child was, and what she was. Not why the boss wanted her though.

"But Kei she's protected" Mandrake said showing his dominance and Kei growled at him. But Mandrake kept his stance up and kept eye contact.

"Hah, pathetic" Kei said his voice Turing lower, it sounded more like a demon then anything.

Kei shrugged his shoulder as they seemed to grow wider and wider, his stance grew. The bones in his legs crunched, sending a shiver up Jason's spine. He turned away as claws grew to replace Keis toenails and fingers nails. Howling into the air in pain as his face changed Kei's eyes turned black as he clutched his head tightly. His muzzles growing out snapping his jaw and rebuilding it. He screamed loudly but it turned into a howl as his ears moved up on top of his head and his nose turned black and pointed. His back clicked, one joint at a time. Snapping his spine as it moved down. Snapping up quickly he howled to the moon as his stance appeared more demonic, more wolfman...

"Kei?!" Mandrake roared loudly as the rest of Keis cloths ripped out. Fur quickly growing out of his skin as it seemed to rip off leaving splats of blood on the forest floor. "Kei!" Mandrakes howled loudly as Keis napped his newly transformed head at him. His eyes a bright sickening yellow, sharp teeth quickly replaced his old human ones. His canine teeth free the most, like large daggers. His milky brown fur grew in clumps and looked messy, he was far larger than before. He was a seven foot tall monster.

"I don't care who's there, I don't care what that little girl may be guarded by we are wolves! I don't CARE we are going to kill them ALL and get the girl!" Kei roared as he howled straight into the dark sky, the full moon almost seemed to hide in fear behind the scattered clouds as the ground was soon later stained with red...
