A/N: For those of you who are out of the loop, here's the five-second synopsis of how things went down: I read My Immortal, it pissed me off, I found dramatic readings on YouTube, I found commentary stories on this site, I decided to do my own commentary story, I was eventually reported, I took it all down. So, yeah. That's pretty much all the background you need.

Well, I knew it was going to happen sooner or later: I've been reported for "plagiarism as well as slander". The only logical thing for me to do is completely remove this story from the website, and that's what I've done.

My account means more to me than some dumb idea that I came up with; I'd rather forget about this stupid thing than be kicked off the fanfiction site. So I've deleted all 44 chapters of "My Immortal".

I realize that I should have kept my comments to myself - rather, I should have written that stuff without posting it. I also realize that it's never okay to make fun of someone else's work publicly, no matter how much it may suck. And so I apologize to Tara Gilesbie; she doesn't deserve what I did to her story.

I also apologize to the fanfiction community. I violated several rules, but now I see that it wasn't right of me to ignore them. Hey, I'm a human being. We all make mistakes. I'm just glad I figured mine out when I did.

Some of you might think I'm a big fat pansy for bowing down to the Man like I did, but like I said, I'd rather have my account than lose it. I'm pretty sure that I'll get chucked off the site anyway; plagiarism and slander aren't exactly misdemeanors. They're also things I'm not very proud of.

But, all the same, I'm sort of glad that I did this. I went outside my comfort zone and wrote something I never knew that I could. And...people liked it. They liked it a lot. Granted, a few people did point out that I was being a big bitch and being stupid, but the majority of readers found my off-beat humor funny. That's the only part of this story that I'm proud of: I made people laugh. I learned that I'm funny to some people. I wrote something people enjoyed. That's the whole reason I write. And, for that, I'm happy I took the risk and tried it out.

Thanks to everyone for reading and reviewing. Thanks to those who liked this story, for your kind words of encouragement. Thanks to those who pointed out my mistakes, for making me realize just how far I'd gone.

I'm leaving up Chapter 45, simply because it's the one thing that belongs to me - and, also, I guess people found that to be hilarious, too. I'm also leaving up the epilogue, dedications and acknowledgments because I always thank my readers...now matter what happens to the story.

So...yeah. I'm done with my sappy little rant. Flame as you will; remember than I can easily report that just as easily as you reported me. I'm sorry that I had to go and be an idiot, but I'm not sorry that I finally found closure with "My Immortal".

And, if this ends up being the last thing I ever write, then thanks for a great two years. It's been fun.
