A/N: Yahoo~! My first ever Poem for KHR~! (Katekyo Hitman Reborn) It may not be perfect, but it is my first time writing for this awesome series. So I hope people will like either way~!

Sky Child
A smile brighter than the Sun
and eyes sparkling with hope
for the future.
Nothing can break them.
Not lies, not broken dreams,
not even their dying will.
The Sun is their guidance,
the Cloud is their strength,
the Rain is their joy,
and the Storm is their friend.
The Lightning is their mentor
and the Mist holds many mysteries.
A lot has happened to prove their worth.
Many obstacles have crossed their paths, and so many
challenges they have yet to face.
A girl with no future in store,
a young boy who only wants to protect those dear to him,
and a young man who is only dreaming of a perfect world.
She has accepted her fate with no regrets.
He will continue to protect them even with his dying breath.
He was once happy and content,
but that sadly wasn't enough for someone like him.
Her sacrifice will never be forgotten.
His memory will forever remain in our hearts.
And although the evil in his heart has faded away,
the pain he has caused so many; simply cannot be forgotten.
They were born to be Leaders,
but each had a different path to follow.
She was destined to perish for those most dear to her.
He was destined to change his family's fate for the better.
He was destined to fall, but also to awaken to a new world.
And just like the Sky…
…They will always be watching over us and protecting us.
Because, they are the children of the Sky.
[A/N:] Phew, you guys will never believe how this came to be!
You see; we had an assignment for Filipino due, it was either write a Poem or draw a picture representing "Love" (Ugh…), naturally; I chose to write a Poem. Unfortunately for me; my mind was filled with KHR that day. And so I wrote a Poem based off of one of my favorite couples in KHR: Gamma x Uni~! (It was a Tagalog Poem, so I might rewrite it into English once I get it back from my Teacher.) After writing that Poem; I ended up writing this one soon after! XD
