Witness Protection
The team gathered around the bullpen.
"I wonder if this is about Hotch," Reid wondered .
Prentiss was back for a couple of cases, and Hotch was on temporary duty per orders of the director. But, he hadn't shown up to work in a couple of weeks and the team was wondering what was UP.
"Good morning," Rossi greeted , "There's no easy way to say this, so I'll just say it. Peter Lewis was found stalking Jack at school."
"So what does this mean for Hotch?" Reid asked.
"Hotch has entered witness protection with Jack. He also handed in his resignation."
The team gasped. It wasn't like Hotch to quit.
"So, we can't see him or contact him?" Reid asked .
"I'm afraid not kiddo," Rossi answered.
"But he'll be alright? I mean, we're gonna catch him?" Garcia asked.
"Kitten, we're doing everything we can," Rossi vowed. And he meant it with every word.
The team was going to catch Mr. Scratch and bring Hotch back alive. Because it just wasn't fair.
