Prologue
Dr. Hendricks had met people of all different kinds, weird ones, plain ones, tall ones, fat ones, and even the occasional insane one. Though in all of his travels he had never met anyone like Nora Hawthorne. Nora was exactly what Dr. Hendricks needed; she was going through a high school pregnancy that was unexpected and unwanted. He had traveled all the way there and talked to her in person about giving them the child for their test and now 7 months later he was hearing that Nora wanted to keep the child. He stalked down the hall towards the delivery room.
"Strap her down and start the procedure," he commanded, "Nora calm down this will all be over soon."
"NO, please don't take her from me," she sobbed uncontrollable. Nora's delivery took up a good part of the day, she stared down at the baby in her arms with a love only a mother has for their child.
Dr. Hendricks looked down at the tiny human in Nora's embrace for a second before nodding to one of his assistants. The assistant stepped forward and snatched the baby, but Nora started struggling again only this time harder. As the assistant carried the baby down the hall Nora's cries could be heard clearly.
"Mady, I love you baby no matter what."
