A SOUL EATER/ HALO CROSSOVER
~Prologue
Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my very first fanfiction! I am very excited and I hope that you enjoy reading it as much as I'll enjoy writing it! Anyway, the purpose of me writing this prologue is to basically give you an idea of the way I'm going to present each chapter.
If you've watched the anime, then you know that it starts by showing a bit of the actual show, then the beginning theme, then the name of the episode. This is EXACTLY how I'm going to be writing my fanfiction (minus a beginning theme ^_^) since I think it'd be cool to make it similar to the show.
Next, I'll explain the different speech formats; that is, how to tell when a character is thinking, speaking, muttering under their breath, etc. Here is the format guide:
"Blah"= normal speech
Blah= narrator speech
Blah= thinking
Blah= weapon speech
I was going to make a separate speech format for muttering under the breath, but then I realized that I could just state when somebody was muttering with the normal format ("blah blah blah" muttered Turkey Burger), so I ultimately decided against it. I'll also include the format guide at the beginning of each chapter, so you don't have to bust your brains trying to remember! :D
Also, I just started college so I may be unable to add chapters on certain days (education comes first!). I could also be experiencing Writer's Block, so try to bear with me! No writer is perfect. I'm also writing this with my brother (hence the "crossover" with the Halo franchise).
Finally, I'd appreciate reviews and some ideas you may have! I'll try to implement as many as I can into the story! If you don't see your idea, don't fret! There's always a chance that I'll use it in the next chapter!
