I run the path of self destruction.
I know it. I crave it as I fear it.
Feet pounding down the platform. Train pounding down the track.
Heart pounding in my chest.
Running to one destiny. Running from another.
Destruction calling out to me. So sweet her voice. I sacrifice my all.
For love.
Running from duty. Running from the one man who I trust to save me from myself.
Because I'm terrified he will.
I close the gap. But so does he.
My destruction reaches out her hand. Captures me. Draws me in...
Salvation, when it comes, is painful.
