The rain fell through the air making a dreary scene outside of my office window. I sighed, knowing that I needed to get out for some air. I walked out the door of the office and down the hall, nodding to the secretary on my way. I stopped when I heard a strange noise coming from the Fuhrer's Office. I heard the noise again, but this time it was instantly recognizable: The sound of auto-mail being altered with alchemy. I was the only one in the building with auto-mail and could perform alchemy on it. I ran to the door and realized it was extremely quiet inside. I listened for a moment and opened the door. There were only two people in the room, but one stood out in particular. Hawk Eye kneeled over another person on one leg, a gun to the intruder's head. I looked over the situation. The Fuhrer was out, so he was in no danger, but I knew this had to be resolved quickly. I looked at the intruder. My eyes went wide when I saw the unmistakable blond hair and auto-mail.
"What kind of bastard would dare to impersonate one of the Elric Brothers?" muttered Riza. "This can't be him!" she shouted to me. I walked over to the two of them, my feet crunching on broken glass.
"Hmmm…." I thought for a moment. "Well, there's only one way to find out, ain't that right…" I grinned devilishly. "SHORTIE?" He threw Riza off of him stood up and started yelling incoherently about the supposable meaning behind my words. "Ed," I said calmly as I put a finger in front of his face. He stopped yelling and looked at me. It took a moment before he registered who I was, but when he did his jaw hit the floor. I smiled lightly and moved my hand. I looked beyond him and saw Hawk Eye rising from the floor and positioning the butt of her gun above Ed's head. Before I could say anything, a crack resonated from the contact of gun and head. I winced as Ed fell to the floor, unconscious.
"That's for throwing me across the room and for jumping in the window like that!" Riza huffed.
"Well that was a bit extreme…" I muttered.
