After climbing a long staircase

I found myself awaking in Heaven

After awhile, I grew homesick

Why are Angels so intimidating?

It was a closed-off paradise

The place called Heaven

Was great to live in

But it's rather lonely

Stranger

On top of a table, we danced and sang

And since the discomfort cleared, we traded questions

Stranger

You sadly cried "Goodbye!"

And followed the rest of them down

After that,

They decided

To flood the Earth

I spoke up

In humanity's defense

"Here's the deal then!"

I accepted their offer

Though it would hurt,

I wished

I wished

I wished you would repent

After leaving Michael's Hand

I arrived in a town looking for clues

There, after asking around

I saw seven huge lakes

I hid my face with a brown cloak

Hoping they wouldn't look further than that

But their eyes pierced though me

So I ran away

Stranger

As an immortal, I'm nothing but an outsider

Who has to keep changing his name

Stranger

I wish I could see you and hear you sing again

If I could

I'd try my best

To reason with you

I want to help you

If you'll listen

For, when I was alone,

They didn't understand

But I met you

And you

And you

You, at least, understood

"He's so friendly, he's so friendly!"

That phrase echoes in my mind

My memories are so fuzzy now

And though I can't pick out much,

You were, you were

A good friend of mine, weren't you?

I hope that when we meet again

We will

Be on the same side
