This takes place before the first Harry Potter book.
It is a story of a four year old Harry, unknowing of his powers, and how they always seemed to get him into trouble and make his hateful family hate him even more.

Pre-Story
---------------
Harry woke up early the morning of his fourth birthday. He was so excited that he could hardly sleep the night before. He didn't have much to look forward to, but it was his birthday, and if nobody was going to make it special for him, he was going to make it special for himself. No matter what.
"Happy birthday, Harry," he said to himself as he got out of his draggy covers. His back hurt from the hard surface of his bed, but he could care less. He was going to fix himself a good breakfast, before Uncle Vernon could do anything to stop him. Nobody was going to ruin his day. Not Vernon, not Petunia, not even the Fat Loaf (that's what he called Dudley). He got out of the way of the stairs, and headed for the kitchen.
"Eggs sound good." exclaimed Harry, as he went to the fridge. He pulled out two eggs, cracked them, and mixed the yellow yolk into a bowl.

Chapter One
-------------------
Count McChickenMonster was counting his daily loss of lost chicken eggs... it was hard for everyday to lose more and more valuable chickens... how was he going to win the never ending war for chicken rights without any solders? Those damned wizards... making mere fools of us all..
There was a knock on the Count's chamber door.
This better not be the damned fool again...
But it was. And the fool had a large grin on his face.
"Count McChicken, we have discovered a great breakthrough in our war. We believe that this wizard may be the key to stopping the war between wizard and our precious eggs. We also believe-"
"Spit it out, then!"
"Sorry, Count. The key is a boy named "Harry Potter."
