Addie, The Mother.
Young Addie Pray was now a grown woman living in a country house in Kansas, with her daughter Maggie who was ten years old, it was April of 1960. grown up Addie Pray was in her living room reading the local newspaper when little Maggie came out of the ketchen she was drinking a glass of milk, she then sat down next to her mother to talk with her.
"Hey mom what are you reading?"
She asked.
Addie told her.
"I was reading the article on how senator John F. Kennedy is doing on his run for the presidency I sure hope he doe's well he reminds me of Frankie Roos he was president a long time ago when I was a kid."
Maggie then said to her.
"Mom, what was life like when you were a little kid?"
She now puts down her paper, and talks to her about the good old days.
"Well, Maggie dear it was during the great depression after your grandma died I was forced to live with my aunt Billie that was until I met "Moze" who was a real con artist. and way before I was born he really knew your grandma very well."
"I'll tell you about that when your older."
"But anyway back to the story me and Moze went door to door selling bibles to the poor even though we were telling theme lie's but he was trying to earn money at any coast. yes sir! we even picked up a crazy dame named "Trixie Delight" me and her worker "Imogene" got her hooked up with the hotel clerk so Imogene could get home with her family."
"I tell ya those were the days!"
Maggie then said to her mother.
"Hey mom whatever happend to Moze?"
Addie then said.
"He died a couple of years ago when I grew up I decided to live on my own until
he payed me the two hundred dollers that he owed me."
Maggie now said to her mother.
"Mom do you know where Moze is buried at I want to see his grave?"
She repiled.
"Yes I know where he's buried sure we can visit his grave let's go."
They now get into the car and drove off to visit Moze's gravesite.
