Haruka´s story...
I loved our nights, our nights colored by the neon sign lights outside my window!
I cannot lie! I loved her and I still do.
But I was not ready to commit! Nor am I today.
At least not in the sense of the society accepted form of commitment.
I was committed and devoted only to her down to my very last breath, down to the last drop of blood and the last cell in my body, completely, utterly and blindly.
And I still am!
We had that little room I lived in, with one bed, small kitchen and dining part, all in one and... the two of us.
And nothing else we needed! Nothing else mattered!
And we still don´t.
And it still does not.
But I was not ready to move somewhere else, I was not ready to move in with her. And I am still not!
And she understands that.
I bought her a ring, we got engaged. But I didn´t want us to start living together! And I still don´t!
Having the secret affair in the beginning, was a thrill for us, I have to admit. Meeting her out in some dark alley or a faraway street where she couldn´t be seen with me by her parents, and taking her to my modest apartment where we first talked for hours about everything , our fingers intertwined , like lovers only do, until the time for her to go home would come, and later shared some more intimate moments and made love for the first time... it was all so precious to us and thrilling too, being a secret we consummated honestly and passionately with all our hearts.
And it still is!
Though we do not hide from the world any more.
But we are not ready to give up wonderful memories this room witnessed and charm and magic it contains for us both, which we experience in the completely same way!
I loved our nights! Our nights colored by whispers, moans, endless passion, sweat, true promises, and bright neon lights outside this fifth story apartment window.
And I still do!
And so does my Michiru , too!
