This was written for Morning Lilies "Forgotten Family Ties" challenge on HPFC! I got Victoire and George, with the prompt, "Help?"! I hope this is good! Let me know by clicking the little blue button…..
Victoire Weasley had never been one that needed help. To everybody else, she was little miss I-can-manage.
But desperate times call for desperate measures. And she wanted revenge. On her cousin Fred.
See, Vic wasn't one who normally got pranked, either. So you can imagine the joy on her face when her lovely cousin dumped a bucket full of steaming hot butter beer on her head when she walked into Shell Cottage.
So who better to go to then Fred's dad, the prank-master himself!
"So, Vic, I heard you got quite a surprise this morning. Let me guess. Fred's work?" Vic's Uncle George laughed when he saw his niece in the kitchen helping Bill with dinner.
"Yeah, he dumped butter beer on me. And the ironic thing was it was my butter beer." Vic scowled, blowing a piece of blonde hair away from her face.
"George, don't…" Bill looked at his younger brother and gave him the goblin eye.
"And I've also heard that you've been looking for revenge." He added, and he saw the corner of Vic's lips twitch up into a small smile.
"And who did you hear this from?" the 13 year old asked her uncle.
"Your uncle may have let it slip once or another." George laughed, and he gestured to Harry in the living room.
"Dad, can I talk to Uncle George alone for a few minutes?" Vic looked at her father with her best puppy dog eyes.
"All right, but if Fred wakes up covered in stink sap, I'm blaming you, Vic." Bill said, and left with a wink.
"So you're going to prank him back?" Vic asked, expertly arching a single eyebrow.
"What is this? Is the Victoire Weasley asking for 'Help'? I never thought I'd live to see the day!" George joked, and Vic gave him her signature sneer. But her crystal blue eyes showed on the inside she was smiling.
"I'm not saying I need help…" she said.
"You're asking me if I can assist you." George finished, and Victoire laughed.
"Exactly."
I hope you enjoyed! Review and tell me how you like!
