I'm very busy, so I'm probably am not going to write in this a lot. I'm starting this journal so I can keep records of my….. interesting life. You see, I'm a Cahill, but not just any old Cahill, I'm a mixed branch Cahill. My parents are both Cahill's, but they are not from the same branch.

My mother, Leslie Hope Cahill, is a Madrigal. Madrigals are the ones trying to create peace between the branches. The four other branches, (Lucian, Tomas, Janus and Ekaterina) are scared to death of the Madrigals. They believe we are the enemy. Even though we are not, it is easier to accomplish missions if it stays this way.

My father, Dr. Karter Peyton Jr. is an Ekaterina. Their specialty is machinery, chemistry, and just about anything that relates to science (math is related to science because without math, science would be impossible.) My father does believe in peace so he is ok with the Madrigals now. I am both branches, "dual-sided, house divided" as me and my friend joke. I split my week between Ekat and Madrigal training. Except on Sundays, in which I spend at our family mansion if I'm not on a weekend mission.

By the way, the Cahill's are the most powerful family on earth. Starting with Gideon Cahill and his wife, there four children took parts of the serum that there father created. Each part of the serum that they took emphasized there talents, Thomas had strong athletic and physical abilities. Jane had passionate artistic abilities. Katherine was exceptional in science and creating strange useful devices. Luke was best at strategizing difficult situations (I suppose chess was easy to him) Then an unfortunate fire split the family apart each heading in different directions going on to do new things. Madeline was born after this split, so no one knew about her. The children's decedents, famous or not famous would inherit those abilities. Unfortunately Madeline's decedents do not have any special abilities. We are devoted to bring the whole family back together. That is why I am so special. I am hope. Hope for all Cahill's to be united again.
