The light flicked in the close damp confines of the cell in which he found himself.
"Where am I" he asked with a fog amnesia that was present in his mind.
He tried to hold his head to ease the headache that pounded from within his skull but found his arms would not respond, no, not respond, his arms were being restrained.
He looked down to find to see what force could hold Him! The No life King, the destroyer of armies!
"What the hell, a strait jacket!" with a shocked and surprised tone
"What nonsense is this? I'll tear through this like flesh I have torn through on countless battlefields before!"
Then, out of the darkness came a voice, a strong, fearless voice
"No Servant! You will not! It was Sir Arthur Helsing
"Master! What is going" The fog slowly beginning to rise from his mind.
"Why will you not allow me to remove these bonds?"
"You will remember Servant, in time your memories will return, but for now let me tell you why you are here and in this postion!" Helsing moved to the light and adjusted it to prevent the flickering and stood over the Count.
"You have been a faithful and loyal Servant to the Helsing family for many years, you have obeyed our orders and have rid the world of countless monsters. You have done this without question." Arthur then knelt down in front of the Count and leaned forward.
"You are a monster, and I, your Master have a begun to wonder what my true intentions are in using you? With a look to ground and with a heavy frown Arthur then returned his gaze into his servants eyes
" I have realised that I am impure, I have relished in the power in welding my families greatest weapon, I have cheated and I have lied to my loved ones about my numerous affairs, plans and true intentions. I had forgotten my reason for being." Arthur quickly rose to attention and looked down on his Servant and said sternly
"My purpose is banishing impure souls of the living dead into eternal damnation"
You are without the Logos and as such should not be a weapon used by a man such of as myself in Gods name.
I fear that using you as My weapon I will no longer be a just a man but a man with monstrous ambitions! "
Alucard grinned "So what is it you intend to do with Master? Is it your wish to send me hell? Seems to me your trying absolve yourself before the end by killing a monster! Arthur looked uneasy but allowed the Count to continue.
"All these years I've known of your heart, what you say and do is rarely what you truely feel!" Helsing looked sheepishly back at this ' slave' and wondered for how long had his servant been obeying his masters commands or following a kindred spirits desires. Alucard continued
"I could make your cancer disappear, you could be as I, a child of the night, be free of your mortal limitations of your desires" Alucard smiled his devilish smile.
After a brief moment of comtemplation Arthur responded to his Servant offer.
"No! I will die a man, I will atone for my sins without the help from you or your kind again!"
Alucard laughed "Yes, yes, excellent, just what I hoped for, you are truely Helsing, like the Helsing of old that killed this monster before" a sudden wave of recollection hit him. "you do not intend to kill me, master, you have enchanted me to slumber here, until I am needed one again. This strait jacket was never meant to hold me, it was your will that I remain?"
Arthur looked at him again with stern admiration "Servant, just because I am too weak to control the weapon we have created, does not mean the weapon should not be used by others, others thats would use such a weapon in the name of god and country! So here you will slumber, until the time you are summoned"
The Count bowed his head and grinned yet again
"Yes Master"
