AN: ANOTHER PREIVEW, I couldn't help it. This is another sequel preview to The Life and Times of a Child on the Streets

Lots of angst and drama and romance and STUFFF so yeah, this is a look into the angsty side of the story to come

Bloodlust

Alexis looked down to her arm, the blood pulsating around her fingers. It stung, and hurt like hell, but she didn't care. Her masochistic nature was satisfied with the pain.

She hated it when people called this emotional turmoil. Or depression or whatever they said

But it wasn't

It was an anger management. The second her skin was split open and the blood sliding down her wrist, she felt like she couldn't focus on anything else that was painful

And when the pain subsided, she was too tired to be angry anymore.

She knew if she didn't do anything about her anger, she would kill someone. Anyone, who said something wrong.

It was all her fault.

Everything was her fault

It was her fault that Brennan was self-concious about her relationship with Booth when the victims were identified

It was her fault that she hadn't been able to help Booth before he exploded with emotional troubles. With what was growing in this case, and the fact that his father was here

All of this was bringing back horrid memories from his past, and that's why they blew up

Why they weren't together anymore

Alexis looked to the sling that she tore off her arm that laid on the floor. She sighed, tears welling in her eyes

It was her fault that she was hurt

That she was on the verge of death

If she was smarter, she would have figured out who did it, before they got the chance to take out their next victim.

If she looked, she would have seen the semi-truck speeding down the rode. She remembered the eager eyes of the driver, and happiness in them as they slammed into the side of the small compact car.

Alexis remembered her scream, the metalic smell of blood, much like that of which she smelled now.

She remembered the horror on his face as he burst through the doors of the hospital.

She didn't want attention, this was her fault. She stole a sling from the hospital and snuck out, running back to this sancutary.

Back to where it all began

No one knew where she was, and they didn't want her to know. She would figure out who did this, but she was too ashammed to show her face around the others, she would do it in secret.

Alexis looked up to see Rozalyn whimpering, her head on her paws, staring at the pools of blood, getting bigger with each drip of blood off her fingers

Alexis closed her eyes and pressed the cold metal blade to her skin. She stiffined and sliced back, a scream of pain escaping her mouth as blood poured from her arm

This is the only way she thought to control my bloodlust.
