It was a peaceful day in the Mushroom Kingdom... until Bowser struck the town of Toads and began hiks usual invasion, causing the normal chaos that the mushroom retainers were used to by this point.
"Oh look out, it's the evil Koopa king," A generic Toad pointed out as he yawned loudly, being taken by several Koopa Troopas.
"Bwa! Ha ha! That is right!" Bowser laughed as he did a pose in his Koopa Klown Kar, with his armada of wooden airships behind him. "And now, I'm going to take your precious princess!" He then reached the castle, only to see that Peach wasn't there. "Eh? Where is she?"
"Ova dere!" Luigi exclaimed as he pointed at the sky, with Princess Peach floating in the air using her magic.
"Princess! Come to me!" Bowser exclaimed as he motioned his arms to himself.
"No! I rather collect peaches!" Peach retorted as she stuck her tongue out at Bowser.
"But... we were meant to be..." Bowser stated as he had a frown on his face.
Peach shook his head. "We're just friends, Bowser. Just remember that." She then decided to head eastward to get more peaches.
Bowser sat in his Koopa Klown Kar as he began to contemplate his life, wondering why he kept bothering with invading the Mushroom Kingdom as Mario came by to save the day, destroying the airships with his timed jumps.
