After a nasty break up, he relies on his closest friend and babysitter, Odysseas to help him raise his five-year old son Eijun, (who is the biggest ball of sunshine there is) however, Youichi slowly begins to recognize his feelings for the only woman that has been there from the start

Chapter 0 – Uncertainty lies within

[Three years prior]

"Eijun was nothing more than the biggest mistake of my life! I never wanted that bastard. But no! Youichi Kuramochi just had to have a son. If you wanted a kid so badly, why didn't you just fuck that cute little babysitter of yours, eh? I see the way you look at that little bitch." Kouda hissed at Youichi. She personally never wanted a kids in the first place, she thought that children were nothing more than useless brats that served no purpose.

Clenching his fists, Youichi glared murderously at Kouda. He didn't care if she insulted him or Odysseas, but when it came to his innocent son Eijun; that's where he crossed the line. Honestly, he was done with Kouda treating Odysseas, Eijun and himself like they were beneath her.

"I'm giving up on you." He stated coldly, "I don't want to be with a woman that treats her son like he means nothing to her. It fucking breaks my heart, but you know what? I'm going to do this for Eijun, he doesn't deserve a shitty excuse like yourself, and I surely don't need you in my life any longer. So pack your shit and get the hell out of my house Kouda."

Smirking darkly, she did exactly that. Once she had her belongings, she stood at the entrance door and giggled, "Did you honestly think that I cared about you or that brat?"

That was the last thing Kouda said, before disappearing into the dark of the night. And it would be the last time that Youichi would ever see her.
