A/N: Hello again readers. I came up with this little poem during my study hall when I ran out of homework to do. This takes place during my Broken Bonds verse and is a kind of study (?) of Peter and Edmund's relationship in this verse. I'm still not quite sure what to call it. I don't write poetry much. That's an understatement actually, and this is my first actual good poem. My friend who's a poetry expert and avid poet actually approved it. That makes me insanely happy. And I really felt like sharing it with you all. I hope you enjoy. Title takes inspiration from the Celtic Thunder song Brothers in Arms and I recommend you check out as much of their stuff out as possible. Enjoy and review if you are so compelled.
Brothers in Blood, Brothers in Arms, Brothers in Heart
The expanse is great
Though they be brothers in blood, brothers in heart they seem not
One trained in darkness, the other in light, they meet one chance at dawn's peak height
The eldest fair, his spirit kind; the youngest brash and slow to mind
The ones who watch let their hopes rest
On reunions foretold and four children blessed
Brothers in blood become brothers in arms
To vanquish an evil doing families harm
Overcoming lies and memories lost
When loyalty comes at a greater cost
Forgetting what is known by sight
To seek to see with heart and fight
And anew, these shattered bonds of old
Shall defeat winter and its bitter cold
Of evils set upon the land
And reclaim the world of Aslan's hand
