That 70s' Show
It started out in Eric's basement. Fez, Hyde, Eric, and Kelso were watching something that happen to be on TV., Kelso was playing with a slinky that he had found on the sidewalk that day, and Fez was eating a tootsie roll that he bought earlier at the Hub.
"So, Forman…pretty hot lab partner you go there," Hyde said between drinks of his coke.
Eric smiled and looked around the room slyly. "Yeah, her name's Julie. Don't say anything to Donna though. I don't want her to get jealous or anything."
Kelso, Fez, and Hyde started laughing. Eric looked at them all, confused why they were laughing.
"Ha-ha, yeah Forman. She's really going to get jealous."
"Dude, don't you think that Donna's going to get worried if she sees us two together at the Hub or in the basement?"
"Ha-ha, Ohh. She would be so worried. Forman man, she knows you're not going to do anything with Julie."
Eric was getting testy now. "You never know Hyde. I could do anything I want."
"Yeah. Are you really going to cheat on Donna with Julie?"
Kelso stopped laughing and jumped up. "Ahh, Dibs! When they break up, I get her first!"
Eric reached out and punched Kelso in the arm. "No man. Shut up!"
"Oww, man! Too hard!"
As Kelso sat down in the lawn chair again the door opened and Donna walked in.
Eric looked at the guys and shook his head. Donna sat down on the couch next to Eric.
"Hey guys, what's up?"
Hyde took his feet off the foot rest and sat up, "Nothing much, just talking about school. Say Eric, didn't you get a new lab partner?"
Eric shook his head and stammered. "Wh- Dude, What the heck man?"
Donna turned around and looked at Eric. "What about your new lab partner?"
"Umm, uhh…nothing. Her uh, her names Julie and she is not that smart ya know. Total ditz."
"She's hot isn't she?" Donna asked looking at Hyde.
"Like a fire cracker."
"Eric, I don't care if you think she's hot. It doesn't matter."
Eric looked around as Hyde and Kelso laughed.
"Wh- Why doesn't anyone think that I'd do anything?"
Donna looked at him. "Would you do anything Eric?"
"No, but I don't appreciate you automatically thinking that I wouldn't."
She smiled and laughed. "Well okay then. How about this: Eric please don't do anything with Julie?"
Hyde laughed. "Like she'd even do anything with him."
Eric got frustrated and got up.
"Eric. It's not a bad thing that you wouldn't do anything. It's a good thing that I trust you. Don't you trust me?"
"Yeah, but what does that have to do with anything?"
"Well isn't it a good feeling knowing that you can trust me?"
"Yeah but-"
"Exactly. It's okay Eric. Get over it."
"Okay, whatever ya know. Who cares? It's not like we'd ever hang out outside of school."
Just then the phone rang. Kitty yelled down the stairs to Eric that the phone was for him. He answered and heard Julies voice.
"Hello?"
"Hey Eric. It's Julie."
"Ohh,
Hey Julie. What's up?"
"Oh nothing. It's just…that I
don't get the homework. Do you think that you and I could get
together at the Hub and you could help me with it?"
Eric paused for a moment and looked at Donna. "Sure Julie. If you need help with it, it doesn't matter."
"Okay.
Thanks Eric. I'll meet you there in twenty?"
"Okay. That
sounds good. I'll see you there."
Eric
hung up the phone and looked at Donna again. "That was Julie. She
need's help with her homework. I'm going to meet her at the Hub.
Are you okay with that?"
Donna looked at Hyde and Kelso. "Yeah
sure. It's cool."
"Okay. I'll see you later Donna. Bye guys."
A few minutes after Eric left Donna got up.
"Going to watch him?" Hyde asked.
"Psh no. I wouldn't do that," Donna shook her head and walked out the door.
Hyde, Kelso, and Fez looked at each other. "She's going to watch him" they said together and laughed.
