It was freezing. The cold air rushed across both boy's faces as they trudged through the snow just to hurry to get back to their cabin.
Keith shivered. The jacket apparently wasn't enough to warm him up. His face was red. His fingers were numbing. His black, silky mullet blew in the light wind. Some of the snow flakes even got caught in there.
Lance looked so nonchalant. He didn't seem that cold when heaven knows he was as cold as the arctic; kind of like Keith. His arms were wrapped around his jacket to try to help warm him up, but of course, that wasnt doing shit for him. His gloves looked like as if they were one second close to falling apart.
"You cold, Keith?" Lance asked, looking down at the fairly short male.
"Obviously I am. Don't ask s-stupid questions like that, you p-prick," Keith chocked, being interrupted by the chill in his bones, causing him to shiver.
Lance only chuckled lightly and snorted.
Winter was fucking terrifying that year. It wasn't very snowy where they were, but it was cold as hell and no one knows how that even works.
"Are we close, Lance?"
"Nope. I can't find it anywhere. The GPS is being a stubborn little shit, so we're gonna have some trouble," Lance spat, hitting the back of the GPS device hard with the pads of his palms.
Keith sighed and shook his head.
"I might die out here. I might..." He trailed off with his words and snatched the GPS device from Lance. He examined it carefully, groaning.
"It's probably dead. You kept it on when we went out even though I tried telling you not to fucking keep it on during our little 'trip' to get the goddamn wood. I can't fucking deal with you. Now we might never find our way back because of your disobedience."
"Well, sorry, mom. I forgot that I had to turn it off. I just didn't want us to get lost if we had to go back early," Lance exaggerated, making rude hand gestures at the other male.
Keith just scoffed. Lance annoyed him so much it was hard to even live. He swore he could just snap his neck and watch him cry in agony at the pain. Sounds extremely rude, right? Constantly being disrespected by someone you spend a lot of time with could get you to feel that way.
"Do you wanna fucking fight, Lance?" Keith threatened, an annoyed look on his face.
"No. Wouldn't want dad to get angry at me and beat my ass."
