One song
That's all I asked for.
I never got it
Instead, I got lying in this hospital bed.
I have that song in my head
The one I sang that night.
And now, listening to the sound of the machines,
I know what I have to do.
I let go.
The beeping
It slows down…
BEEP

Silence…
BEEP

Slowly, I let go of the wall that's been there.
"NO!" Mark cries
It's too late.
Goodbye everyone.
