Author's note: Hey here's my sequel to my Nut Job story "Aftermath". Remember I don't own the movie Nut Job.
It was going great these past few weeks. Surly was accepted back into the park by the animals. He had Andie as a friend and he even made friends with a dog…surprisingly. It all changed a couple days ago though.
Something bad happened to Surly's best friend, Buddy a couple days ago. Andie and Precious witnessed it along with Surly.
Surly was freaking out a lot. Andie was somewhat able to calm him down. Buddy wasn't waking up though, not even Precious (the dog) licking him would even wake him up.
Surly refused to even leave Buddy's side he was so devastated. He blamed himself for what happened.
It was really bad and Surly can't stop thinking about what happened that every few minutes or hours he would go into a flashback. He would relive what happened over, and over, and over again. It won't stop haunting him.
He would just look at Buddy, watching his chest rise and fall hoping, praying that it would never stop.
You're probably wondering what had happened to Buddy right. Well let us go into one of Surly's Flashbacks and find out.
