A/N: Hello all! This is my first attempt at an Alice in Wonderland story. Just to make one thing clear, the White Queen is greedy and jealous, kind of one of those "what's lying underneath the surface" kind of things. Any questions- ask me in a review!

The Knave of Hearts (and the Mad Hatter)

White Queen's POV:

Though she'd never admit it to anyone... what her sister said was true. Their parents did like her more (mommy and daddy would do anything for her puppy dog eyes), and she did get everything. She even got the kingdom (even though she was the youngest).

So when her bigheaded sister, the Red Queen, had at her disposal the Knave of Hearts, she felt anger for the first time.

Against her vows of not hurting a creature, she had violent thoughts running amuck through her head, often causing her to space out. Most days, you could see the White Queen sitting on her throne or on a bench in the courtyard, head cocked to the side with a small smile on her face (the picture of pure kindness).

Oh, what she wouldn't do to have the Knave, Stayne. What a name! What a man! She would have to have him, soon.

She sent dear, dear Tarrant to lead the darling Alice to the Red Queen's castle; he'd do anything for his precious White Queen. Her plan worked out perfectly, the Vorpal Sword returned to the rightful owner, and the champion ready for battle.

The battle commenced, the White Queen taking no pleasure in the bloody violence... that is until she saw the Knave of Hearts. Standing next to her sister.

He reached down and grabbed her sister's hand, bringing it to his lips for a quick second before releasing it. Iracebeth giggled like a schoolgirl, grabbing onto the Knave's hand.

A flash of disgust crossed over his face.

Mirana smirked. This would be easier than she thought.

The battle finished with an "OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!" from dear Alice.

The moment my crown was replaced on my head, I told Iracebeth of her fate, banished to the outlands of Underland for the rest of her days.

"What about me, your Majesty?" My dear Knave asked. I smirked at him, a thought running through my head. I clasp my hands behind my back and sauntered over to him, loving the way his eyes widen at the sight of me.

"You, Stayne, Knave of Hearts" I said, grabbing his arms and pulling him towards me so our chests just barely touch. "Are to be my… servant." I said with a wink. He gulped, he was nervous; oh how I love my power over people.

We stayed there, just barely touching, waiting for him to come up with an answer. He finally got the courage after hearing Iracebeth pathetic sobs.

"I could never, would never be your servant" He spat, shocking me into silence. I stared at him for a moment, his eyes, his hair, his lips, before pushing him away.

"Knave of Hearts, you are also banished to the outlands with Iracebeth. No one is to show you any kindness." I said, my voice icy. No one, no one, makes a fool out of the White Queen.

One of my soldiers handcuffed the Knave to Iracebeth. I watched as he looked around with panicked eyes, then tried to kill my dear sister. My guards stopped him and held him back.

"Kill me please! Your Majesty! Anything but this! I will take up your offer! Please!" he shouted, eyes wild, body flailing, hoping I would save him.

"But I don't owe you a kindness" I said softly. His eyes widen as my guards dragged him away, Iracebeth screaming, "He tried to kill me!" over and over in her squeaky voice.

Maybe, just maybe, Iracebeth deserved this one thing more then me. I thought as I congratulated my champion.

Alice was debating on going home when the Hatter, my dearest Tarrant, leaned over and kissed her speechless.

I felt a familiar anger bubble up inside of me.
