River Song meets the Doctors other wife, a blond women from his past. And no, it's not who you think. Oneshot

The Doctors other wife

River Song leaned against the railing in that magnificent blue box, watching the love of her life 'piloting' the time machine. The Doctor had insisted that she not help him this time, to keep the surprise real. River personally thought that the Doctor just didn't like anyone else flying the TARDIS. Every few steps, he would look up and grin at her.

"You know, we would go a whole lot faster if you would just…" River began, trying to get a little pointer.

"No, no. I am flying, you are waiting for your big surprise!" the Doctor admonished, and River just rolled her eyes. But soon enough, the TARDIS made her grinding breaks-on noise. River would argue about the Doctor keeping the breaks on, though she knew that even if he started to take them, the TARDIS herself would still make the noise. It was a brilliant sound.

"Ah here we are." The Doctor ushered her toward the door. "The land of sunshine and money. The Golden Age of film." He pushed to door open to reveal a perfect view of the giant Hollywood sign sitting on the hill.

"Hollywood!" River beamed, rushing out into the street (though how the Doctor got a good view of the hill from a street she never did find out).

"Yup, 1950s. To be more precise, 1958." The Doctor said as he followed her out of the TARDIS. "Some of the greatest stars in America live here now. Frank Sinatra, Cary Grant, Audrey Hepburn, and so many more." River whirled around to face him, grin splitting her face.

"Can I meet them?" she asked, making the Doctor laugh at her eagerness.

"Of course. Most of them are good pals of mine." River went back to examining everything around her, taking it all in. The Doctor grinned, ah to be young again.

A commotion down the street caught his attention. He saw a large group of people, all screaming and pushed together, and above the mob, a flash of brilliant blond hair coming his way.

"Doctor!" a feminine voice rang out. The Doctors faced paled.

"We've got to go!" He said, as he grabbed Rivers arm, trying to drag her back to the TARDIS.

"What is it? What's wrong?" she question, pulling her arm out of his grip.

"Please, we have to go. There's no time to explain." River stopped and stood her ground.

"River please!" He begged, trying to leave before it was too late. But it already was.

A blond woman in a white dress launched herself at the Doctor, wrapping herself around him the midst of camera flashes.

"I knew you'd be back! I just knew you wouldn't leave me!" the woman said in a high voice, leaving lipstick all over his face as he tried to push her off of himself. River looked about ready to grab her gun, but instead ripped the women off the Doctor.

"What do you think you are doing?" River demanded of the women, who fixed her with the best withering gaze a star could.

"I am kissing my husband!" Marilyn Monroe said.
